The "Rustaveli's Heroes" website was launched on April 9, 2025, the anniversary of Georgia's restoration of independence. It aims to create an archive of data about individuals who have been politically persecuted by Bidzina Ivanishvili's regime.

Our Mission

We gather and consolidate open-source information about individuals persecuted or victimized for political reasons by Bidzina Ivanishvili's regime, as well as those who perpetrated the persecution.

The Motivation

To counter and halt this wave of repression, society must recognize its magnitude and indiscriminate cruelty.

We are grateful for the tireless work of all media outlets and journalists who are diligently recording these events. Our aim is to create a centralized, organized repository of this scattered information, ensuring that the stories of all victims and the identities of the perpetrators are easily accessible to everyone.

How to Contribute

The project is an initiative currently run by a three-person team. The data set is substantial and challenging to process. If you are interested in assisting, we need help in the following areas:

  • Researching information on politically motivated repression and violence
  • Processing incoming information, including editing and preparing text, video, and photos for publication
  • Reviewing and verifying published information

We also welcome ideas and consultations on how to enhance the project and expand its purpose and functionality.
